Dip Dyed

model - Meadham Kirchhoff's

Backstage at Meadham Kirchhoff

Drew Barrymore 2009

Nicki Minaj 2010

Lady Gaga 2010

All I can think about lately is dip dying my hair and after seeing Meadham Kirchhoff’s A/W 2011 models at London Fashion Week I'm now committed to making it happen any which way.

Now all I have to do is decide on a colour...

Pam Hogg A/W 2011

Pam Hogg with Daisy Lowe & Alice Dellal
Head-wear focus...

Pam Hogg was definitely my favourite show to watch this year at London Fashion Week, not only for the killer catsuits and wild head-wear but for the numerous Z-List drag queens on the front row and every eccentric fashionista to boot! Pam Hogg was running rather late, which lead to all the front row luvies being cooped up in a tiny side room behind a massive glass window, I can only compare it to being at the zoo and pointing at the funny animals inside...very amusing!

Pam Hogg's Autumn/Winter 2011 collection had a real 'wow factor' and portrayed her punk roots entwined with extravagant dyed furs, luxe fabrics, taxidermy and bondage. Renowned for her skin-tight panelled catsuits Pam pulled out an array in this collection; with models prancing along in revealing black mesh, pastel wood-grained prints and silver Lycra and all with various head adornment.

Who knows, this time in 8 months maybe we'll all be sporting stuffed bird hats of a night? Pam Hogg is where art and fashion come together and I loved it.

Russ Yallop - Ibiza Voice Podcast

So far this week Russ Yallop's Ibiza Voice Podcast has been the soundtrack to my London life. Dashing between shows it's given me some toe tapping moments on the tube to keep me entertained and upbeat...

PPQ A/W 2011

PPQ Front Row

Within seconds of the PPQ show starting I was immediately hooked on the black cat ear hats, which are now at the top of my wish list.

Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker have been designing in London as PPQ since 1992, with a few ups and downs along the way they now seem to be moving from strength to strength as one of the most in demand shows to attend at London Fashion Week...with an infamous after-party to boot.

With big lace ruffles and velvet panels featuring highly in the A/W 2011 collection it contrasts greatly with the detailed tailoring of the dresses. And when combined with the bold collars, thin plaits and black bows there is no denying the strong Amish influence throughout the collection.

A definite hit for London Fashion Week 2011.

Chris Carrier - I'm in Love Today

I've quite frankly had enough of this rain and am setting my mind to when I will be dancing to this track in the summer sun on the white isle.

This is my latest fix, I can't get enough of Chris Carrier - 'I'm in love today'...

Gang Colours

Gang Colours' moody melody's combined with playful beats lulls you into a contemplative trance...then your head starts bobbing, shoulders swaying and fingers flitting and it's caught you.

It's all down to a very talented young Southampton based producer called Will Ozanne. Already a favourite of Giles Peterson, Gang Colours are definitely one to watch for 2011 and are leading the way for a new trend of fresh, minimal and enchanting sounds to come.

It's truly beautiful...
