Jessie Ware's latest track to grab us by the ears is '110%', again produced by Julio Bashmore as with her previous single 'Running' - they make a mighty fine team too.

'110%' pulls you in with a soft dub baseline and Ware's sultry vocals lull you into a summertime slumber - a good follow on track to 'Running' which was a huge success...

Javeon McCarthy

Addicted to Javeon McCarthy this week, overplay central on his new release 'Lost time' and the HUGE remix by Eats Everything, as well as 'Lost in Love' from 2011.


Javeon was also the vocal on fellow Bristolian Julio Bashmore's 'Father Father' track.

Sleigh Bells

 Sleigh Bells are an electronic pop-noise duo made up of Alexis Krauss (vocalist, lyricist) and Derek E. Miller (songwriter, guitarist, producer) from Brooklyn. Their debut album 'Treats' was released in 2010 after being sponsored by M.I.A.

Their sound is full-on, packed with noisy melodies and combined with Alexis' sharp airy vocals laid over the top.

Sleigh Bells latest album 'Reign of Terror' has had mixed reviews, as has their overall sound. It's not an overly easy listen but the best tracks  'Demons' is my personal favourite from the album, followed by 'Comeback Kid' and 'Born to Lose'...

New Balance x Milkcrate x SneakersNStuff

I recently attended the launch of New Balance's latest collaboration with SneakersNStuff (Sweden) & Milkcrate Athletics  (NYC)at Foot Patrol in Soho. 

The collaboration was on their 577 trainer; two very different designs appeal to two very different tastes; one packed with bright, bold, neon colours and the other simply shades of grey. A New York vs Stockholm stand-off.

This 'Kidd' appeared on The Voice this weekend past, but Vince has been around for quite some time. 

Vince's already been snapped up and signed to Sony, as well as being picked for MTV's “Brand New for 2012″ - he's definitely got something special; a soulful voice and a strong image and if his first release 'Sick Love' is anything to go by (featuring nurse-dwarves, a lot of boob & nuns in S&M wear) I think he'll be big this summer....
